Néstor, un seminarista obsesionado por la santidad y atormentado por el demonio, aparece colgado en su dormitorio. Esteban, su único amigo, cuenta en un interrogatorio los hechos previos a la muerte de Néstor. A través del relato se descubre un amor reprimido y enfermizo de Néstor hacia Esteban, y un misterio oculto por el seminario que quedará al descubierto.
